September 9, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Canadian Web hosting provider Chinook Webs (Chinook-Computers.com) said on Friday that the company has implemented Ensim?s WEBppliance software in an effort to deliver state-of-the-art control panel-based hosting to its customers.
Why use a vendor when you can choose a partner? DataPipe delivers highly customized solutions to meet your unique IT needs. World-class data centers in the U.S., London & China. DataPipe - Personal Touch, Global Reach.
Chinook says the WEBppliance product is ideal for a smaller Web hosting company because of its ease of installation; Ensim?s extensive customer support system; the product?s ability deliver services such as PHP and MySQL on the Windows platform; the automation and simplification of the installation and use of mail software; the ability for customers to manage their own service; and the reasonable price.
Before settling on the Ensim platform, says Chinook, the company thoroughly researched its options, settling on what it considered to be both the best value and the best product.
Along with the Ensim software, Chinook implemented the Urchin 4 Web analytics platform. Again, the company researched the decision, and selected the product that it felt offered the best combination of price and performance.
The company says the best feature of the software is its ability to track visitors? paths through its site, providing in-depth click-through analysis.
Chinook?s own performance has been excellent, says the company, having increased its customer base by ten times since January of this year. The company expects its growth rate to increase in the fall.
