March 18, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Anti-spam and anti-fraud solution developer Cloudmark (cloudmark.com) and Checkbridge (checkbridge.com), a developer of spam and virus filtering solutions for service providers, announced on Friday that they have partnered to deliver hosted spam, fraud, and phishing filtering services to Internet service and Web hosting providers in Europe.

Checkbridge will license Cloudmark Authority software and embed it within its Border Scout managed email filtering service for Internet service providers. The companies say Cloudmark Authority, embedded within Checkbridge Border Scout, will enable ISPs to realize improvements in productivity and reduce operating costs.

"Checkbridge's decision to integrate Cloudmark Authority Engine into its Border Scout service addresses the growing customer demand for a comprehensive ISP secure email solution that is carrier-grade," says Vipul Ved Prakash, chief scientist and founder of Cloudmark. "Our partnership with Checkbridge signifies yet another milestone in our growth in the ISP and hosting space and demonstrates our commitment to an aggressive growth path in European markets."

European Internet service and Web hosting provider Clara.net is the first to offer the Border Scout service integrated with the Cloudmark Authority engine.
