The companies will be offering Hurricane Electric?s IP services to customers in the Market Post Tower Meet-Me Room, which allows customers to interconnect with the world?s leading service providers, bypassing local loop charges.
Located in Silicon Valley, Hurricane Electric runs its own nationwide Gigabit Ethernet backbone out of the Market Post Tower, which is also home to two of Hurricane Electric?s several colocation facilities.
The company says its connections range from OC3s to GigE, connecting major exchange points including MAE-West in San Jose, California; PAIX in San Jose and Palo Alto, California; AADS in Chicago; NYIIX in New York City; and MAE-East in Vienna, Virginia.
