The .pw domain, says the company, stands for "personal web," and is intended for people and "communities of shared interests."
PW Registry Corporation has partnered with software developer LogicBoxes (logicboxes.com) to offer an automated reseller solution, intended to ease the integration of .pw offerings into existing services. The company also launched an operational test and evaluation environment for resellers in preparation for the domain's official launch in June.
PW Registry says the LogicBoxes solution provides a platform for Internet service providers and Web hosting companies to offer .pw addresses to customers with little effort or upfront investment. The "registrar-in-a-box" solution includes complete branding and customization tools, infinite multi-level reseller capability and a suite of value-added services for ISPs and registrars.
