"By creating this economic deterrent and empowering the recipient to instantly penalize senders of unwanted e-mail, Vanquish turns the tables on the spammer, and forces them to risk having to pay for the resources they are currently stealing from service providers," says Phil Raymond, CEO and founder of Vanquish. Vanquish says customers of Internet service providers and Web mail service companies are fed up with spam, and expect their service providers to be able to better control it. The company says the expansion of its beta program will help service providers to free their customers from unwanted e-mail.
