The WARP 2063e edge appliance is a multi-function application preprocessor that offloads high-volume traffic and serves end-user requests from the closest node resource. WARP secured the contract in partnership with Estafet (estafet.com), a provider of caching and messaging solutions.

According to the company, its acceleration technology enables lastminute.com to improve the performance of its Web site, speed up transactions, save on infrastructure costs, and increase revenues, while providing a scalable solution to accommodate growth.

The lastminute.com Web site has a volume of 250,000 unique sessions per day and over one million page views per day.
